Charles Edwin Good

Charles Edwin Good, 78, of Fairfax Station, VA, formerly of Harrisonburg, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA after a lengthy and debilitating stay from complications of Crohn’s disease. He was born on October 29, 1940 in Harrisonburg and was the son of the late Edwin O. and Elsie Moore Good. Charles graduated in 1958 from Harrisonburg High School and received degrees from JMU. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and taught at Annandale High School in Fairfax County until retiring in 1995. Charles had a great love of art and nature and loved to travel, most recently to South America, Southeast Asia, South Africa, Portugal and Italy. His artwork may be viewed on his website www.cgoodart.com. He is survived by numerous cousins and friends from the Northern Virginia and Richmond area. Honoring his wishes, there will be no services; private burial will be at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Charles E.
