Charlotte "Skippy" Ann Denton Zucker

She was born on March 25, 1930, and was the daughter of the late Roy H. Fleshman and Masie Robertson.

She graduated from Churchland High School in Portsmouth, VA and attended Madison College.

Charlotte “Skippy”, who always had a smile on her face and a sense of humor and wit, were unsurpassed. Tennis, Bridge, ice coffee and Johnny Walker with her girlfriends were a priority in her routine. She would never say no to lunch out with the girls or an invite to a dress up party in high heels. Most of all, she loved her Willow Spring Farm.

Skippy was a long time member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Spotswood Garden Club and Spotswood Country Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, E. Warren Denton, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Terri Lynn Denton, Janet Warren Denton and E. Warren “Tripp” Denton, III; a granddaughter, Jessica Roi Denton; her sister, Joyce McMurry; and three nieces, Kathy Thompson Siegel, Sherry Kent Thompson and Lisa Nicole Thompson.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 pm, Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Woodbine Cemetery with Rev. Paul O’Gorek officiating.
