Dennis Keith Evans

He was born on January 28, 1957, in Harrisonburg and was the son of the late William Lewis Evans and Esther L. Nutter Evans Harman. He was raised by the late Wilbert and Beverly Shifflett.

Dennis graduated from Montevideo High School in 1975 and was baptized in the Mt. Olive Brethren Church. He enjoyed fixing old lawn mowers and working in his yard. He had a very kind and generous nature and was kind to everyone he met.

He is survived by his sisters, Dreama Evans Bennett of Grottoes, Linda Dean-Lam of Rockingham; his brothers, Gary Evans and wife, Violet of Ft. Defiance and William Evans, Jr. and wife, Debbie, of Timberville; numerous nieces and nephews.

Dennis was also preceded in death by a sister, Sherry Lyle.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Skyview Springs Rehab and Nursing in Luray for their excellent care. Also, very special thanks to his niece, Tammy Dean, and great-niece, Coral Dean, for their wonderful care.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
