He was born on May 7, 1939, in Harrisonburg, and was the son of the late John W. and Ada Andes Reedy.
He is survived by his wife, Janet E. Baker Reedy; and a daughter, Carolyn Ritchie of Fulks Run.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Donald W. “Bud” Reedy, Jr. and a daughter, Phyllis J. Spitzer.
Honoring his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no services.
