My heart is broken. Doris was one of the most unforgettable people I have had the pleasure of knowing! We spent many hours visiting in the studio as she made her daily pass through the MennoMedia building collecting trash. I was always amazed at her ability to work at what would normally be considered advanced years. And she was always delighted when I would ask clients to guess how old she was and then let them know how wrong they were because nobody ever guessed she was in her 80's! She will surely be missed! I look forward to seeing her again in a much better place where death will have no part!
