Dear Budd Family,
Please accept our sympathy in the loss of your husband and dad and granddad. He was a great man. I so enjoyed talking to him the most during my run and then service on Harrisonburg City School Board. He had a lot of good memories and great advice. May God bless you with great memories of him.

Dear Betsy & family,
I'm so very sorry to hear about the loss of Earl & your lives as well as the many lives he touched.
I, too, have fond memories of Earl, mainly from Good Printers. He brought the sunshine in whenever he entered the building! His laughter & smile could turn anyone around in a heartbeat!
He always showed genuine concern for whatever was going in in your life whether it was work or family related-- everything stopped & you had his undivided attention! And, he was ih so proud of his family!! What a legacy!
His smile & (sometimes mischievous) twinkle in his eye will remain with me me always.
I pray that wonderful memories will bring smiles to your hearts & laughter to ease your grief.
Simply a wonderful man I am honored & blessed to have known.
Please accept my sincere sympathy,
Cindy Yount

I remember when I worked at the bank, 25 years ago, how we looked forward to him bringing us donuts

Mr. Budd will be missed by all of the employees of Good Printers. He was always caring and kind, with a great sense of humor as he frequently visited with employees during the workday throughout the years. He would come and sit in my office and talk about family, work, politics, or whatever was on my mind. We laughed a lot; and when he left my office I always felt better for having spent time talking with him. Mr. Budd was one of a kind, and he will not be forgotten.

Bernie, Earl’s brother, wanted to share this picture showing him with his loving family in a place he loves: The Smokey Mountain National Park.
Earl and Betsy visited him there too and he is grateful to have such wonderful memories of his brother’s visit.
