Elese Eye Kincheloe

Mrs. Kincheloe was born on May 24, 1917, and was the daughter of the late John Rosser Eye and Maude Snyder Eye Myers. She graduated from Bridgewater High School and attended Dunsmore Business College. She worked for a brief period in the office at Shenandoah’s Pride Dairy. She was a longstanding member of the First Presbyterian Church in Harrisonburg.

Mrs. Kincheloe is survived by a son, Phillip L. Kincheloe of Harrisonburg, a daughter, Denise K. Schnitzer and her husband, Al, of Norfolk, VA, a step-grandson, Courtland Rodamer of Harrisonburg, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, John R. (Jack) Eye, Jr.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers at Yoder House whose love, patience, and understanding helped make her later years comfortable and enjoyable.

A private burial service will be held.
