He was born on August 18, 1933, in Aurora, WV, and was the son of the late Ernest D. Lipscomb, Sr. and Prema Ruth (Bittinger) Lipscomb.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura C (Fries) Lipscomb on April 9, 2010.
He is survived by his children and many extended family members.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
