She was born on June 8, 1943, in Norfolk, Virginia, and was the daughter of the late Maxwell D. Baker, Sr. and Ida M. (Spitzer) Baker.
She is survived by a son, James Shoemaker; a daughter, Cindy Campbell (Jim); five grandchildren; a special grandson, Cordell Shoemaker; two sisters, Janet Reedy (Donald) and Ramona Mitchell (Frank).
Honoring her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services, viewing or flowers.
