She was born on May 4, 1939, in Harrisonburg and was the daughter of the late Lawrence A. Trobaugh and Edith M. (Souder) Trobaugh.
Gerry was a graduate of Harrisonburg High School and was a homemaker. In early years she worked for Harrisonburg photo finishing, Charles Store, Belle Meade, Foley/Shockey Motors, Dutch Pantry and Valley Lanes. She enjoyed reading in her spare time.
On March 23, 1957, she married her husband, Donald Keith Wichael who passed away on December 11, 1991.
She is survived by two daughters, Linda K. Wichael and Sheri W. Moak.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by father-in-law and mother-in-law, James P. and Helen M. Wichael; a son in law, Michael E. Moak.
Honoring her wishes, she will be cremated and inurnment will be at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
