Standing with you during your time of bereavement of your beloved Family Member, Henry Leon Whitelow. He was so special and full of faith and love for his fellowman. We worshipped together for a period and he was a pillar of his Church and I can't imagine it without him. We always had great conversations, good laughs and sharing of the shut-in we had visited and bringing each other up to date. One very Special Gentleman, Henry Whitelow, as a big Man with a Golden Heart !! May he rest in Eternal Peace..

Dear Family and Friends of Henry,
I had the pleasure of working with Henry during his leadership of the 25th CSU, I was a young bureacrat unsure of his large, reserved presence but soon appreciated his extremely large heart, the respect his staff gave enthusiastically, and the genuine concern he felt for youth and his staff. He made me laugh, while challenging that which made little sense. I will miss his light.
Love and Peace Henry,

To the Family Henry Whitelow,
I have know Henry for well over 50 years first as he was a schoolmate of an older cousin (William "Butch" Curry); then as both a felIow and retired Court Service Unit Director to now seeing and working with him in the community. I enjoyed Henry's dry sense of humor and willingness to foster community and collaboration--he will be missed . Please know that I and my family pray for your strength in the days ahead and that the peace and comforted HE promises will be yours . Jim Rankin

I was a fellow CSU Director with Henry. I never heard him say a great deal, but when he spoke up it was always to advocate for the best interest of our kids and not to toe the bureaucratic line. I appreciated that in Henry. He's one of us who will leave the world a bit poorer by his passing. "Go rest high up on that mountain......"

When Henry was at the Juvenile Court, he served as one of the on-site supervisors for the internship program that I created at JMU. He was a fine professional and he provided excellent training to our students. I was sad when he retired as he was easy to work with and I enjoyed our association in joint supervision of students. He will be remembered in the community as someone who contributed time and expertise. My condolences to the family.
