James Andrew Doyle Jr.

He was born in Boston, MA on May 3, 1936 and was the son of the late James A. Doyle, Sr. and Mary Coady Doyle.

Mr. Doyle had resided in Harrisonburg for the past eight years and attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Before moving to Harrisonburg, he resided in Boston, MA where he had been employed with Time Warner Cable before retiring in 2002. He was currently happily employed as a driver for Papa John’s Pizza.

On November 23, 2004, he married Janet White, who survives.

lso surviving are a son, James A. Doyle, III and wife, Lisa of Harrisonburg, a daughter, Catherine P. Federico and husband, Kenneth of Derry, NH, a step-daughter, Amanda Daniel of Churchville, VA, a brother, Thomas C. Doyle and wife, Mary of South Carolina, grandchildren, Shane Doyle, Gage and Ian Coe, step-grandchildren, Dawson and Cassandra Daniel; as well as nieces and nephews.

Mr. Doyle will be cremated and the family will receive friends 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM on Monday, January 10, 2011 at Lindsey Funeral Homes in Harrisonburg.

A Mass of Resurrection service will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Tom Mattingly officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society, 1920 H Medical Avenue, Harrisonburg, VA 22801.
