Jane was the most kindest, compassionate, loving, giving lady. I worked with Jane at Marshalls. I remember one day her saying " I would love to have a squirrel!" I had a bunch of dogs and they were barking and I went to see what was up and one dog was trying to grab a baby squirrel into their kennel. I got the baby, called Jane and said "Jane! I have a baby squirrel up here!" She dropped the phone came to my house (forgot her purse so she had no driver's license lol) and took the baby home. So she raised Peanut aka Petey. She was so loving towards any animal and she was also a good listener and shoulder to cry on. Going to miss you Jane. My heart goes out to the family. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about Jane, I worked with her at Marshall's and we had so many nice conversations.
I Loved talking to her, she told me about her pet squirrel and I thought that was so neet. She was a very nice lady and so beautiful inside and out. I know she will be missed so much. God Bless You All.

Ed & Family,

We were shocked to hear of Jane's passing. Our sympathies go to you and the whole family, because you all will truly miss a remarkable lady. We had lots of fun times with the donkeys and the birds and that will be a wonderful memory for me to keep. If there is anything that we can do for you, please do not hesitate to call or email. Again, sympathies to you all. Sending hugs, love and prayers.

Beautiful lady, not enough words to say what a wonderful person she was. I've known her and Eddie Garber for over 30 years at Perdue. They both are the finest people you could meet, and a wonderful couple, so devoted to each other. My heart breaks for Ed and the family. My love and prayers are with you. She will be remembered.

I always enjoyed bumping into Jane at church functions. She would ask about my girls to see what they were up. Sometimes following with an interesting anecdote. I will miss those encounters and that light in her eye when we would share funny stories. We will all miss her. But know that her faith was strong and she is singing with the angels and having a ball.

Dear Janie,
I am spending my morning (Sunday, Jan. 13th) reflecting on your beauty and spirit. You were a very special person. As God created the flowers for our pleasure, your life was like a flower. We will be sad with our loss.

As you cared for the animals and found favor and pleasure in them, we found pleasure in you and your family.

God saw fit to let you spend 73 years with us, now He chose to call you home. His gain is our loss. Your life was like a precious pearl. We know Rick will be lost without you, but in God’s perfect time we will see you in Heaven and will rejoice around the throne forever.
Love,
Aunt Fran

Jane was a very sweet lovely lady. She loved to sing. We where in a Singing Group together at the Victory Fellowship Church. Last time we sang together was Sunday before last, at the Harrisonburg Health & Rehab Center. She was always happy and loved her Chicken. We sat together at Church. She was my “second Jane” I called her, She loved God, her Church and Family so much. Will miss her so much. She is singing praises to God and in a better place.
