Joseph Anthony Fiore

Born March 27, 1944, in Queens, New York, Joe was the son of the late Philip and Marie Fiore. He built a long and successful career as a finance manager at Verizon’s world headquarters, where he was known for his sharp mind and steady presence.

Joe was a devoted husband to the late Elizabeth Fiore, and together they raised two sons, Michael and Andrew. He was a proud father and grandfather, cherishing time with his family above all else and enjoying their many cruises to Bermuda as well as yearly vacations to Speculator, NY. He especially loved the holidays, when he would bake his famous fig cookies — a beloved tradition his family looked forward to each year.

He is survived by his sister Nancy Powers and her family; his sons Michael and Andrew; Andrew’s wife, Noëlle; and his two treasured granddaughters, Magnolia and Marigold.

A visitation for Joseph will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Casey Funeral Home, 350 Slosson Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314.

A funeral service will occur Friday, May 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church, 101 Cromwell Ave, Staten Island, NY 10304.

A committal service will occur Friday, May 30, 2025, from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at Moravian Cemetery, 2205 Richmond Rd, Staten Island, NY 10306.
