Shortly after graduating Larry entered the U. S. Air Force. Upon completion of basic training, and serving four years Larry received an Honorable discharge.
His intelligence , wit, cleverness and funny personality shone through whenever he entered a room
He would be the one to make you laugh, and let you know about yourself in the same sentence. He didn’t play, it was one reason he was called “Nails” Some called him Stink, some called him Mad Man. We knew him as Dad.
Larry loved his family, his dogs and he always lived his life to the fullest. It was nothing for him to pack up and go out of town for the weekend, or party with his kids, all the while giving life lessons. On any given day he could be enjoying fishing, cutting his grass, or simply standing in his screen door looking out onto his land. Madden Land. Everyone knew our Dad as the OG of Kelley St, he was Uncle Larry to many and respected in the community as such.
He was deeply loved, respected and will truly be missed by his family and to any who had the pleasure of experiencing that infamous grin.
Rest on Nails- Until we meet again.
