He is survived by his fiancé Heather Erdman and her daughters Hailee and Lily, his mother, Michelle Riggleman of Harrisonburg, his father, Philip Maheu of Gainesville, FL, sisters Melissa Lambert and husband, Preston of Bridgewater, Carla Lambert and husband, Calvin of Harrisonburg, a nephew, Dakota Lambert, a grandmother, Charlotte Carrere, and numerous loving aunts and uncles.
Lee was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lionel and Therese Maheu and James Carrere.
Lee joined the U.S. Army and loved serving his country as his parents and grandparents did. He enjoyed hot rods, motorcycles, and helping people.
The family will receive friends 7-8:00 PM Friday, April 30, at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 1, at the Mt. Crawford Cemetery with Rev. Clarence Moyers officiating.
