She was a long time resident of Harrisonburg, being born in Martinsburg, WV, and raised in the Comertown area of Shenandoah, VA.
She was the widow of Victor Myers and together they ran Shenandoah Transportation, selling AMC, Volvos, motorhomes and trailers. She was a member of Business Professional Women for many years. She enjoyed life to the fullest seeing everyday as an opportunity to be happy.
She is survived by her 3 children Barbara Jean Harris of Richmond; H. Anthony(Tony) Lam of Sebring, FL; Susanna Clark and husband Dick of Petersburg. She also has 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at the Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg on Saturday, February 16th at 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 pm and interment will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Bridgewater.
