She was born on July 28, 1947 in Key West, Florida and was the daughter of the late Clayton and Margaret Walker Stephens.
Linda was the office manager of her husband’s accounting firm, Padgett Business Services for more than 25 years. She was a member of Red Hat Society, the Welcome Wagon and was a foster parent to many children. She loved to travel, read, being at the beach and spending time with her family and friends.
On October 22, 1969, she married James Franklin Beasley, who preceded her in death on September 24, 2014.
She is survived by her daughters, Amy Beasley Warford and husband, Rick, of Bridgewater, Pamela Beasley Walters and husband, Keith, of Melbourne, FL; her son, Michael Beasley of Titusville, FL; four grandchildren, Clayton and Avery Warford, Byron and Colin Walters; a sister, Sharon Laird of Woodstock; and her beloved nieces and nephews, Jim Laird, Jenny Laird, Becky Smith, Jeffrey Stephens, Kacey Laird and Amanda Harman.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Joseph, Timothy, Ralph and Eric Stephens.
Honoring her wishes she will be cremated and a Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
