Loretta Jean Coull

She was born on Dec. 3, 1932, in Canton, Ohio to the late Cecil and Gladys Woodside. She was married to Joseph (Joe) Coull, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her three daughters, Deb (Mike) Collins, of Basye, Virginia; Brenda (Don) Coull Dowda, of Conyers, Georgia; and Joanne (Joe) Battaglia, of Basye, Virginia; her grandchildren Matt Neumann, of Basye, Virginia; Shanna Battaglia, of Alexandria, Virginia and Danielle Battaglia, of Arlington, Virginia; her sister Donna Neander, of Crestline, California and her brother, James (Sylvia) Woodside, of Salem, Oregon and many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Oglesby.

A memorial service will be held graveside at Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle, Virginia at 1 p.m. on Monday, January 19, 2026. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Gentiva Hospice in Harrisonburg, Virginia.
