A daughter of the late John and Mary Williams Orr, she was born on Aug. 5, 1914 in Texas. She formerly made her home in Wilmington, NC prior to moving to Harrisonburg in 1986. Mrs. Fiore graduated from Stephen F. Austin College in Texas and was a homemaker
She was preceded in death by her husband Ernest Fiore, and also four brothers and a sister.
Surviving are a son Michael Fiore and his wife, Patricia of Harrisonburg and a son Thomas Fiore and his wife, Carol Tresolini of Durham, NC, and three grandchildren, Andrew Fiore, Julia Fiore and Alexander Fiore
A private burial will be held on Friday, Oct. 1, 2010. The family will receive friends at the Lindsey Harrisonburg Funeral Home from 5:00 until 7:00 that Friday evening.
