

She was born on March 9, 1923 in Mt. Crawford and was the daughter of the late John and Cornellia Morris Anderson.
Lula was a lifelong resident of Rockingham County and a member at Garber’s Church of the Brethren.
On June 8, 1940 she married Roland B. Heatwole, who preceded her in death on January 2, 2003.
She is survived by four children, Ashby L. Heatwole and wife, Carolyn, Judy H. Comer and husband, Alton, all of Harrisonburg, Roland C. Heatwole and wife Martha, of Mt. Crawford, and Vickie H. Moyers and husband, Harold, of Lacey Spring; five grandchildren, Curtis Heatwole and wife, Heather, Daron Heatwole and wife, Barbara, Greg Heatwole and wife, Robin, Dwaine Craun and wife, Rachel, Krystal Fulk and husband, Brian; a special granddaughter-in-law, Terry Heatwole; seven great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Fulk of Keezletown and Juanita Sheffer and husband, Billy, of Penn Laird.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
The family will receive friends 6-7:00 PM, Monday, March 2, 2015 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm, Tuesday, March 3, at Grace Mennonite Fellowship Church with Rev. Richard Early and Rev. Mark Landis and Rev. Walt L. Crull officiating. Burial will be at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
