A daughter of the late Joseph Lee and Esther Himelright Massey, she was born on June 4, 1932 in Winchester, Virginia.
Margaret was a teacher for over twenty years teaching at Culpeper and Rockingham County schools.
She was a member of the Virginia Association of Retired Educators, Business and Professional Women and the Home Extension Club. She was also a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church in Harrisonburg.
On August 3, 1957, she married E. Cameron Miller who preceded her in death on October 30, 1997.
Surviving are two sons, Bryan C. Miller, (Gwen), of New Market and Phil A. Miller, (Virginia), of Louisa; two daughters, Lou Ann Keating, (Bill) of Apex, NC and Karen L. Miller, of Harrisonburg; four grandchildren, Jennifer Hubbard, Katie Smith, Justin Miller and Kristin Miller; nine great-grandchildren, Maddie, Kenzie, Hayden, Camden, Brogan, Cameron, Caris, Matthew and Audrey and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Miller will be cremated at the Lindsey Funeral Homes & Crematory and a private graveside service will be held at a later date at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens.
