Marlene Rhoda (Schecter) Brumbaugh

She was born on April 11, 1937, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of the late Edward and Gertrude (Gabriel) Schecter.

Marlene is survived by her children, Sherri Alt and husband Bruce, Joel Sandler and wife Eleanor, Frank Buckner, Michele Buckner. Her grandchildren, Nicole and Chris Rotondi, Jay and Andrea LaPierre, Danny and Jennifer Sandler, Annie and Chase Fisher, Michael Sandler, Heather Jungbluth and Beau Jungbluth, Jennifer Buckner and Sean Buckner. Great grandchildren, Weston Fisher, Lucas Fisher and Jacob Fisher, Ellie Sandler, Jaxson LaPierre and Zayden LaPierre, Izzebella Rotondi, Kaleb Buckner, Matthew Smith, Natalie Grogg, Emily Lewis, Kierra Brumbaugh, a sister in-law, Marybeth Cornell, nieces and nephews, Denise and Terrance Hooper, Bonnie and Doug Stein, Howard and Diane Schecter.

She was preceded in death by husband, Blaine Brumbaugh, a daughter in-law, Angela Brumbaugh, a grandson, Brandon Keefer, brother, William Schecter and his wife, Evonne.

A funeral service will be held 11 am, Monday, June 22, 2026, at the Beth El Congregation with Rabbi Jeffrey Kurtz-Lenaner and Rabbi Joe Blair. Burial will follow in Beth El Cemetery.
