I believe Ms. Hutton was the last surviving teacher to have taught our 1958 class at Elkton High School. She was a very popular and much respected teacher.

I was Mary's secretary for many years when she worked for the VA Dept. Of Education. She was always a kind and caring person, as my supervisor and as my friend. I fondly recall how "Grandma Hutton" would spoil my two young daughters. She was like family to us! May she have eternal rest.

Mrs. Hutton was my neighbor growing up on Jackson Avenue in Elkton. I recall how friendly she was to the kids on the block, often offering us Fresca or challenging us to the occasional game of Dominos! I remember her perfect hair and polished fingernails. May her spirit rest in peace.
