

She was born Oct. 14, 1940, in West Virginia, and was a daughter of the late Walter Keeler and Sara Shoemaker Pennington.
Mildred was a member of the Eagles No. 4150, American Legion No. 188, AM Vets 007 and VFW Post No. 632.
On July 22, 1985, she married Thomas Ellingsworth, who survives.
Also surviving are her children, Stanley and Johnny Keeler, Harry Rexrode Jr. and Sharon Stover; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Keeler; and a sister, Ruby Mongold.
She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Rexrode Sr.; two sisters, JoAnn Shifflett and Maxine Gooden; and a brother, Raymond Keeler.
The family will receive friends 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 4, at the Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Charles Clinedinst officiating. Burial will follow at Singers Glen Cemetery.
