She was born on July 28, 1948, in Harrisonburg and was the daughter of the late Lester L. Cline, Jr. and Julia A. (Sellers) Pennington.
Her husband, James “Jimmy” H. Driver preceded her in death on June 22, 2011.
Patty Sue graduated from Broadway High School, in Broadway, VA, where she met many lifelong friends.
Patty Sue was well known as a skilled cosmologist. She worked at Colonial House of Hair Styling for much of her career before starting her own business, South High Beauty Lane.
Patty enjoyed spending time and socializing with those close to her. In particular, she enjoyed dancing and listening to 1950’s style rock-n-roll music. This was a passion shared with her husband Jimmy.
She left behind a son, Christopher Brian Loker, who lives in Richmond, Virginia, along with Daughter in Law, Shelley Loker; Grandson, Christopher Blake Loker, Granddaughter, Alexandria Loker and Granddaughter, Katelyn Loker.
Family was very important to Jimmy and Patty. They especially loved traveling and spending time with their grandchildren. Special places include trips to Florida, Virginia Beach and their vacation home at Smith Mountain Lake.
The family will receive friends 5-6 pm, Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Lindsey Funeral Homes in Harrisonburg.
A funeral service will follow at 6 pm with Pastor Tim McAvoy officiating. A private burial will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens at a later date to be decided.
