He was born on April 4, 1948 in Toronto Ontario, Canada and was the son of Rose Blume Weinbaum of Delray Beach, FL, and the late Martin Weinbaum.
Randy attended schools in New York and was a member of the Rion Bowman VFW Post #632.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two sisters, Renee Warsing and husband, James of Harrisonburg, Stephanie Roof and husband, James of Tacoma, WA; two nieces Simone Warsing and Raquel Roof; and one great niece Malina Chanthachaem.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 PM, Friday, May 13, at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg with Chaplain Dennis Taylor officiating.
