

He was born January 8, 1934, in New York and was the son of the late Frank and Jesumina Adolino.
Richard graduated from Manhattan College. He was a lieutenant JG in the U.S. Navy and served as the Separations Officer at the Norfolk Naval Base. Richard was a builder and developer in New York, Florida, Virginia Beach and Connecticut prior to moving to Harrisonburg twelve years ago.
He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
On October 1, 1960, he married Rose Coppola Adolino who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Jessica Adolino and husband, Timothy DiNapoli, of Harrisonburg, and Christine Thompson and husband, Michael, of Timberville; and six grandchildren, Sarah, Emma, and Benjamin DiNapoli, and Luke, William and Jake Thompson.
His body will be cremated. The family will receive friends Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.
A mass of the Resurrection will be held Friday, June 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Harrisonburg with Father Joe Goldsmith officiating.
