Robert Caldwell

He was born on January 2, 1949 and was the son of the late Albert and Nancy McDorman Caldwell.

Robert was a lifelong resident of Rockingham County and was a truck driver for Marvell Poultry. He was a member of the Peake Pentecostal Church.

On January 4, 1975 he married Judy Dorman Caldwell, who survives.

Also surviving are his children, Cindy Caldwell and companion, Stacey Winegard of Harrisonburg, Vickie Miller and husband, Eric, of Fulks Run, Mary Christmas and husband, Charles, of Charlottesville, Noah Caldwell and wife, Whitney, of Harrisonburg, and Ryan Caldwell of Harrisonburg; two grandchildren, Dylan Caldwell and Ciara Christmas.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Eunice Thompson and a brother, Rocky Caldwell.

The family will receive friends 6-8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Lindsey Funeral Home in Harrisonburg.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, September 17, at the Chapel of the funeral home with Pastor Laney Knight and Pastor Al Landes officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Clinton Mennonite Church Cemetery.
