She was born near Harrisburg, PA on January 22, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Clarence Edward and Elsie Alberta Sweigard Hummel.
Miss Hummel was a retired Naval civilian worker. Her passion was taking care of animals, having had numerous rescue dogs and cats during her lifetime.
According to her wishes she will be cremated and all services will be private.
