Ruth Veronica Moran

She was born on December 10, 1927 in Revere, Massachusetts and was the daughter of the late Anthony and Angelina Marrota Pignone.

Ruth was a member of the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and Glenmore Hunt Club.

On November 28, 1946 she married Edward J. Moran, who survives.

She is also survived by two sons, Edward F. Moran of Newtown, CT, Christopher Moran and wife, Lisa of Bridgewater; four grandchildren, Catherine, Nathan, Thomas, and Andrew Moran; two brothers, Joseph Pignone of VT and Steven Pignone of Ashland, MA; and one sister, Carol Finan of Bridgewater.

A wake will be held 6:00 PM, Sunday evening, February 20, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, February 21, 2011 at the church with Father Tom Mattingly officiating.

Following the service Mrs. Moran will be cremated and burial will be private.
