Sally - kind, generous, funny, intrepid, honest - will be missed for so many reasons. She was such a wonderful next door neighbor at the Naval Academy. Those cats! That beautiful garden! Her unerring artistic eye! And how she could make me laugh ...
Rest In Peace, Sally. Be with Bob. I shall remember you for the rest of my days. Farewell, dear friend.

I remember Sally with respect as a member of the Harrisonburg Planning Commission, a rarity for a woman in the 1980s. She stood up for neighborhoods and was a very valued independent voice for the entire community. My sympathy goes out to her family and friends.

I love this picture of Sally. She looks just as I remember her 30 years ago. She and I worked in Boulder, Colorado. She actually gave me a ride home one weekend to Pueblo. She actually gave me a beautiful coat that I still have to this day! God Bless her soul!!

Our friendship was special in so many ways, as she was my sister-in-law also.My husband and hers were brothers, so we had a bond. Very special people, the whole family. Will miss her and her smile and fun attitude in life. Bob and her together again finally. Love you, Ingrid Shapiro

Our friendship began when Bob & my husband Joe renewed a friendship that dated back to being teenagers in New Haven, Ct. Our bond was immediate and lasting; always trying to prank our serious husbands. I recall so many times that we laughed 'til we cried. So today I recall this most enduring bond with Sally with more smiles than tears. Much love to whole family , Louise Hanusovsky-Brochin
