Thomas Woodrow Brock

He was born on September 8, 1940 in Virginia and was the son of the late William Frank Haliburton and Norita McCauley. He spent the majority of his life in Mt. Solon and Harrisonburg.

Thomas attended Lucy Simms School. He was a Floor Superintendent at Dunham-Bush before retiring and was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Rhodes Brock, of Harrisonburg; a son, Darrell Brock of Mt. Solon; a step-son, Roy Strother, of Clover Hill; two brothers, George and Charles Haliburton, both of Staunton; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one aunt; three uncles and a number of cousins.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

The family will receive friends at John Wesley United Methodist Church on Thursday, September 10, 2015, from 12:00-1:00 pm. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm with Pastors Faith Evans and Wilma White officiating. Burial will follow in Newtown Cemetery.
