Tiffni Michelle Trobaugh went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on December 8, 2025. She was 47 years old. She lived her life with eternity in her heart, always longing for the “more” that only Heaven could provide.
She was born on August 12, 1978, and was the daughter of Geri Skievaski and the late Philip Skievaski.
Tiffni was united in marriage to the love of her life, Paul Trobaugh on October 1, 2011.
Tiffni is survived by her devoted husband, Paul. She leaves behind two daughters, Samantha Trobaugh and Taylor McHone, and a bonus son, Dylan Trobaugh; her mother, Geri Skievaski; her brothers, Tony Skievaski and Nanci Castellano; Tyson and Robin Skievaski; and her grandfather, David Showalter. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as many other family members who will continue to honor her legacy.
She is preceded in death by her father, Philip Skievaski; grandparents, Sue Showalter, Frank and Artie Skievaski.
Her greatest ministry was in her home, where she loved her husband and daughter with devotion and selflessness. She found joy in serving her family, especially through cooking and baking. Her cookies were loved by everyone who tasted them, each one made with care.
God also opened a new chapter in her life as an author. She embraced her passion for storytelling and became the author of several published books, using her gifts to create beauty and encouragement.
Her faith was the foundation of everything she did. She loved Jesus above all else, and her life was a testimony to His goodness. Though her time here feels far too short, her family takes comfort knowing she is now fully alive in His presence.
We rejoice in the hope of Heaven and the certainty that she is held safely in the arms of Jesus.
The family will receive friends from 6 pm-8 pm on Friday, December 12, 2025, at Path Church, 1911 West Market Street, Harrisonburg. Honoring her wishes, she will be cremated.
A memorial service celebrating Tiffni’s life will be held at 11 am on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the church with Pastors Dan and Renee Garber officiating.
Flowers may be sent to the church.
