Carl Thomas "Tommy" Pridemore, age 71, went to meet the Lord on July 10th, 2019. He was born on January 15, 1948 the son of Carl "Harry" and Lucy Pridemore. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Toth . Tommy was a man that lived his life to the fullest and the way he wanted it. He was a loving husband, father, brother, papaw, and friend. Tommy drove 18 wheeler trucks for more than 47 years and made many trips across the states. His stories also spread just as far and wide as his trucks would take him. He was a driver and loved every minute of it. In the last years of his life he was able to devote more time to his kids and grandkids. He gained so much joy from watching ad helping his kids be stable and successful in their lives. Such a generous man will be greatly missed by those who knew him. He is survived by many loved ones: wife Mary Pridemore, daughter Brandi Pridemore, sons Thomas and Patrick Pridemore. Grandchildren: Maria Pridemore, Ty and Eli Williams, Allison, Ivy, and Levi Pridemore, and great-granddaughter Harper Bordonaro. He is also survived by his sisters: Joyce Stanley, Brenda Jean Luckadoo, Pat Cottrell, Bobbie Lamoure, Betty Clark, Sharon Pridemore, and brother Gary Pridemore. Pallbearers are Thomas and Patrick Pridemore, Ed Ayers, Ty Williams, Jordan Hatfield, and Robbie Martin.
Officiating will be Jim Blevins. Reading the obituary will be Stuart Fultz. Music will be provided by Eddie Clark.
The family will receive friends at the Coffey funeral home in Harrogate, Tn. on Saturday July 13 from 5-7 pm with the funeral to follow at 7:00. Burial will be Sunday July 14 at 11:00 am at the Forge Ridge cemetery on Forge Ridge Road.
