

He was a member of Pump Springs Baptist Church, a 32nd degree mason, and graduated from San Jose Voc. School in California . He was a coal miner, he loved gardening and traveling.
He is preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Juanita Gibbs, grandson Jonathan Gibbs, sister Paris Ann Gibbs and son-in-law Douglas Wenger
