Kermit Hatmaker, Jr., age 70, of Speedwell, TN, passed away at his home in Speedwell, TN, on Tuesday, April 9, 2019. He was born February 13, 1949 in Middlesboro, KY, and was a member of Town Creek Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Sue Hatmaker; his parents, Kermit Hatmaker, Sr., and Evelyn Hatmaker; and brothers, Richard Hatmaker and George Hatmaker. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Jeff Tolliver and his sons and daughters-in-law, Kent and Jill Hatmaker; Brandon and Tammy Hatmaker; his brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Jennifer Hatmaker, and sister and brother-in-law, Brenda and Randall Ferguson. He was blessed with nine grandchildren, DeeJay and Wife, Kristen Tolliver, Brianna Tolliver, Nathan Hatmaker, Avery Hatmaker, Olivia and husband Cody Cornelius, Jasmine and husband, Caleb Waller, Taylor Hatmaker, Christen Carmack, and Ashley Cockrum; and one great grandson, Evander Labounty.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 pm on Friday at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate, TN, with funeral services to follow immediately after with Rev. Ronald Lambert officiating, music by Joe Gibson and family. Graveside services will be Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Town Creek Cemetery in Speedwell, TN. Pallbearers will be DeeJay Tolliver, Nathan Hatmaker, Mark Hatmaker, Scott Ferguson, Casey Hatmaker, Chuck Welch, Cody Cornelius, and Jaren Hacker. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Town Creek Memorial Gardens. Coffey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
