Margaret J Blocker, age 82, of Speedwell, Tennessee was born on January 18, 1943 and passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025.

She was a proud mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Margaret was a member of Shawanee Baptist Church and in her spare time she enjoyed crochet and spending time with her best friend Vickie Gibbs.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents Happy and Bessie Stockard, husband Vernon Blocker, 10 siblings, and great grandson Landon Blocker.

She is survived by her children Sharon (John) Capps, Dewayne (Michele) Blocker, and Steve (Julia) Blocker. Grandchildren Branden (Niki) Price, Vernon Blocker, Tiffany (Davy) Gibbs, Tim Blocker, Haley (John) Douglas, and Jacob (Lindsey) Blocker. Numerous great and great-great grandchildren. Special friend Vickie Gibbs. Brother Robert Stockard. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The family will have a graveside service on Saturday April 19, 2025 at 4 PM in Mountain View Cemetery. Family requests everyone meet at the cemetery.
