William Joseph Cheek, age 74, of Harrogate, Tennessee was born December 13, 1946 and passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2021. He was preceded in death by his Mom and Dad, Marshall and Lula Bell Cheek; infants Helen Ruth & Curtis Eugene, Siblings, Clyde Cheek, Ollie Cheek, James Cheek and Lucille MacAfee; Father in-law and Mother-in-law, Howard & Phyllis Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Ada Mae Cheek;
Brothers: Marshall Cheek and Jimmy Cheek; Sisters: Chris Whittnan, Ann Doll;
Son: William Joseph Cheek, Jr; Daughter: Billie Mae Cheek; Grandchildren: Daniel Joseph Cheek, Katie Cheek & Nathan Chadwell, Devon Williams, Jaden Williams, Isiah Williams; Great Grandchildren: Colton Marshall Jace Cheek, Mother of His Grandchildren: Lou Ann Rosenbalm and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Special Friends: Allen Sandifer, Brian Sandifer, The Hardees Crew, Boyd Mason, Delbert Pendleton, David Lawson and Rick Earl McMurray.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5 until 7 P.M. at Coffey Funeral Home in Harrogate and funeral service will follow at 7 P.M. Tuesday night in the Coffey Funeral Home Chapel in Harrogate, TN.
