Aaron Mitchell Wilhelm was born on September 13, 1985, in Keflavík, Iceland, beginning a life shaped by adventure, imagination, and deep connections. As a military child, Aaron lived in Iceland, England, Texas, and California before settling in Bossier City, Louisiana. It was there, at Airline High School, that he met Ashley — the woman who would become his wife, partner, and best friend.
Aaron passed away suddenly on June 28, 2026, in Greenwood, Louisiana. He lived a life fueled by innovation and creativity. Whether he was immersed in a video game, building a computer from scratch, or sharing his love of Final Fantasy, Aaron brought excitement and joy to those around him. His passion for technology was matched by his enthusiasm for Nike shoes — a collection of nearly twenty pairs that he wore proudly. He was also a devoted sports fan, cheering for the New York Yankees, Detroit Red Wings, Manchester United, and the New England Patriots, teams that brought him endless joy throughout his life.
Aaron was preceded in death by his father, Daniel Alan Wilhelm. He leaves behind his wife, Ashley Hart Wilhelm; his mother, Carol Wilhelm; his sister, Danielle Harrison; his nephew, Daxton Wilhelm; sister-in-law, Amanda (Brittney) Hart; in-laws, Kim (Doug) Janz and Greg (Raven) Hart; and brothers-in-law, Doug Jr and Jacob Janz; and several aunts and uncles who cherished him deeply.
