Bennie and Annie Elizabeth (Ramsey) Parker welcomed Annie Deloris into this world on March 23, 1929 in Richmond, VA. She worked as a Nursing Assistant for Shriner’s Children’s Hospital for over 40 years. Her giblet grave was second to none. Deloris was a long standing member of Stockwell Missionary Baptist Church where she loved teaching and doing crafts with the kids at Vacation Bible School. She was absolutely the most loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Her presence and her love will surely be missed. She passed peacefully surrounded by family on July 24, 2019 at the age of 90.
Preceding Mrs. Lott in death are her loving husband, Walter M. Lott; and her granddaughter Cathy Layton. Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Joseph Alton Caples with wife Linda and Arlon Caples with wife Melanie; grandchildren, Chris Caples, Mike Caples with wife Michelle, Kathy Caples, Danny Caples, and James Caples with wife Hope; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Matt Parmlee, Elijah Parmlee, Jacob Parmlee, Joseph Maggio, Matthew Maggio and Nikita Yelnsky will serve as pallbearers for Monday’s service. The deacons of Stockwell Missionary Baptist Church have been selected as honorary pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation to The Stockwell Missionary Baptist Church youth fund.
