Aubrey Hubert Sheldon was born Feb. 13, 1912 in Mobridge, South Dakota to George Sheldon and Martha Fassbender. He passed away Sunday, Aug. 21, 2011 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was a self-employed welder for most of his life. Aubrey was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandpaw, great grandpaw and friend. He was an avid bowler and had many trophies that show his devotion to the game. In his younger years he played many sports but baseball was his favorite. Aubrey was a member of the U.S. military, branch of the Naval "Seabees" and fought in WWII. Aubrey was preceded in death by three wives and his parents. He and his first wife, Edna Timm Sheldon were married for 54 years. He is survived by son, Aubrey James Sheldon of Kansas; daughters, Janis Marie Kincaid of Iowa and Judy Ann Clement of LA; brother, Ralph Charles Sheldon of Minnesota; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
