Barbara Mickle

Barbara was born on June 28, 1940 in Cusseta, GA to Elmer and Lorene Pate. She was the eldest of four sisters.

Barbara was a prayer warrior. She prayed for everyone and read her bible every single day. She was a member of Bellaire Baptist Church in Bossier City for 25 years. She loved to watch Charles Stanley every Sunday morning as well.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph Mickle, Sr.; daughter, Janet Mickle; sisters, Pat, Linda and Jenny.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ralph Mickle, Jr. and wife Kit, Sandra Jetton and husband Kendall, Gayle Thomas and husband Paul; grandchildren, Ralph "Mick" Mickle, III, Fred Mickle and wife Tara, Luke Mickle and Jason Shidiskis, Michael Thomas, Malorie Jetton and Sean Minter, Steven Jetton, Thomas Vaughan and wife Kylie, Madison Odenbaugh and husband Tony; great grandchildren, Rilynn, Jahseh, Jayden, Mykel, Mack, Hunter, Colt, Baylor, Boston, Kohle and Adalyn; and all of her Georgia and Tennessee family.

A visitation for Barbara will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm in the stateroom at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home in Haughton, Louisiana. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Honoring Barbara as pallbearers will be Mick, Fred, Luke, Mike, Tommy and Kendall. Honorary pallbearers will be Tony and Paul.

The family would like to thank all of her doctors, home health nurses and Highland Christus Schumpert for their care.
