Funeral services for Barbara Jean Brock Thompson, 73, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 05, 2011 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel, with Minister Patrick Hawthorne officiating. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday January 04, 2011 at the Hill Crest Funeral Home.
Bobbie Jean was born August 23, 1937 and she went home to be with her Lord on January 01, 2011 after a lengthy illness.
Survivors include her husband of forty-nine years, Edward Neil Thompson, two daughters, Cynthia Thompson Keeter and husband Dennis; Sonya Thompson Hall and husband Shawn; one grandson Jonathon; four granddaughters, Tabatha, Tasha, Jessica, and Colbi; two great granddaughters, Jayda and Hayla; also one sweet girl that she always loved as a daughter, Michelle O'Brien Pounders and husband Brent; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
