

HAUGHTON, LA – Services for Ben Henry Stuteville, III, 63, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 18, 2015, at Hill Crest Memorial Funeral Home with Dr. Scott Teutsch and Bro. Brad Watson officiating. Special music will be brought by Bro. Don Francis and Mrs. Sheryl Culpepper. Interment will follow in Haughton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the funeral home.
Ben was born on November 30, 1951 in Big Spring, TX and passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in Haughton, LA. He was employed at G. E. Oil and Gas as a Lead Sales Operation Specialist for 25 years and was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church. Ben loved being on the lake with his family. He was an avid water skier who passed that skill on to anyone who wanted to learn. Ben will be remembered by his family as their “Hero” who strived to fix all things. He will be greatly missed by everyone whose life he touched.
Ben was preceded in death by his step father, Dutch Cox; nephew, Derald Stuteville, Jr.; and special niece, Laura Jo Byas Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, RoxAnne Taylor Stuteville; sons, Robert Stuteville, and wife Robin and Clint Howard and wife Ashly; daughter, Katie Howard; father, Ben Stuteville, Jr.; mother, Jean Cox; sisters, Carla Byas and husband Gary, Tina Worthington and husband Jerel; brothers, Derald “Hoppy” Stuteville and wife Pattie and John Ben Stuteville; six grandchildren, Stetson Stuteville, Lexus Stuteville, Farah Lane Stuteville, Crayton Howard, Caydonce Boyd, and Carter Lee Howard; great grandson, Brantley Stuteville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Clint Howard, Stetson Stuteville, Don Byas, Clint Byas, Kane Ainsworth, Gary Lindsay, Todd Lindsay, Roy Culpepper, and Thomas Burge. Honorary pallbearers will be Hoppy Stuteville, Gary Byas, Daryl Lindsay, and Bill McManemin.
