Beth Ann Ludke Jones, 54, was born April 21, 1971, in Oshkosh, WI. to David William Ludke and Gayle Vera Ludke.
Beth Ludke Jones, devoted wife of Aaron Jones (A.J.) and radiant soul to all who knew her, passed peacefully from this life into the loving embrace of God in Shreveport, LA on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025. Her journey here, although short, was one of joy, devotion, and quiet strength—marked by the love she poured into her marriage, her family, and her Catholic faith.
She had a heart that yearned for the open road and a spirit that delighted in life’s simplest joys. She and A.J. shared countless adventures, many behind the wheel of their RV “Tenacious B”, chasing sunsets, mountain ridges, and tailgates at LSU games. Whether surrounded by cheering fans or a circle of friends around the campfire, Beth brought decadent desserts and levity to every gathering.
In 1989, Beth walked the halls of Parkway High School in Bossier City, Louisiana, marking the beginning of a journey that would shape her future. There, she met her husband, of 31 years. Afterward, she began her career as a Bank Teller, Loan Processor, Notary Public and a volunteer at Shriner’s Hospital for Children. However, her most cherished roles were; homemaker, a talented crafter and devoted dog mom to many.
One of the most meaningful chapters of Beth and A.J.’s shared journey came last year, when they walked the Camino de Santiago pilgrimage across Spain. Carrying the scallop shell - a sacred symbol of the Camino - Beth walked not just with her feet, but with her heart, offering each step as a prayer. That pilgrimage, like her life, was a journey toward God: marked by purpose, each day a step closer to the eternal home she now enters.
She was preceded in death by her father, David W. Ludke and sister, Karen and Father-in-law, Franklin D. Jones.
Beth is survived by her loving husband AJ, her mother, Gayle Durfee (Rick), Brother, Mark (Jessica), Nephew, Kade. Her mother-in-law, Christina Jones, Sisters-in-law, Dawn Gosdin (Ryan) Jenni Cerutti (Steve) and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
