Betty Jho Andrews

Bossier City, LA - Funeral services for Betty Jho Gibbs Andrews, 81, will be held Thursday, October 13, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at Hill Crest Funeral Home from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. Officiating the service will be Rev. Andy Harris, pastor of Central Assembly of God. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park.

Betty was born on October 22, 1930 in Shreveport, LA to Lonnie and Ruby Colwell. She passed away on October 9, 2011 in Bossier City and went to be with our Lord.

Betty was a graduate of Bossier High School in 1947. She was the first candy striper at Schumpert Medical Center at the age of 13. She was honored by being voted "most beautiful" while at Bossier High. Upon graduation, she married "Buddy" Gibbs and they had four children. Later in life Betty remarried to Dr. Roy Andrews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Ruby Colwell, brother, Lonnie Colwell; father of her children, "Buddy" Gibbs; husband, Roy Andrews; son, David Gibbs.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Steve Gibbs and wife, Shari; daughter, Debbie Gibbs; son, John Gibbs and wife Cindy; grandchildren, Brandon Gibbs, Drew Gibbs and wife Bridget, Eric Gibbs and wife Lauren, Erica Gibbs and mother Gina, and great grandsons, Tucker Gibbs and Conner Gibbs.

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
