HAUGHTON – Funeral services for Betty O. Simms will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 in the Hill Crest Memorial Chapel. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, W.C. and Lillie Mae Oglesby, and brother, Sonny Oglesby as well as her husbands, Hollan Hicks, Ben Simms, and Rex Sanders.
Betty is survived by sons, Jim Hicks and wife Jeri; Tim Hicks and wife Flo; and Clay Hicks. Daughter, Pattie Woodward and husband Kevin, all of Haughton, LA. and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Roy Hicks, Ricky Melancon, David Houston, Matt Roberts, James Harris, and Larry Holman.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude and The American Cancer Society.
