SHREVEPORT LA- Services for Billy Charles Nichols, 79, will be held on Friday July 27, 2012 at Hill Crest Memorial Chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Hill Crest Memorial Park. The family will be receiving visitors from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Funeral Home.
Billy was born August 6, 1933 in Texas and went to be with the Lord at his home in Shreveport after a short battle with cancer. He enjoyed dancing at the V.F.W. and loved his two dogs like they were his children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Annie Nichols and a son, Rickey Nichols.
Billy is survived by his loving wife and care giver during his fight, Elizabeth Nichols; sons, Billy Charles Nichols and Jimmy Rae Nichols; step-son Denny Dye and wife Doreen and a daughter-in-law Brenda Nichols.
