A Celebration of Life for Bo will be held December 11, 2023 beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Central Assembly of God in Haughton, Louisiana. Visitation will be held prior to services on December 11, 2023 from 1:00 until 2:00. Interment will immediately follow services at Hill Crest Memorial Park.
Bo was an accomplished southern gospel singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur. He loved to race cars, ride motorcycles, and build hot rods. Bo was the leader of New Wind Revival Band and a member of Red River Hot Rod Association. He was a member of Central Assembly of God, and found love in delivering the word of the Lord with his voice. He cherished spending time with his family and friends. His wife, Karen, of 43 years is and will always be the love of his life. He was the most incredible, loving daddy to his children and Poppy to his grandchildren. He was a father to anyone who came into his home. He leaves an undeniable legacy of honor, love, and integrity. He loved Jesus with all of his heart and soul. His presence will be deeply missed by all who know and love him.
Honoring Bo as pallbearers will be Doyle Dempsey, Jerry Humphrey, David Rollins, Andy Anderson, Slick Hardy, Johnny Farmer, Reagan Rowe, and Cory Burkart.
He joins in Heaven his parents, James and Jewell Wilkinson; and his father and mother-in-law; Daniel and Tennie Martin.
Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Karen Wilkinson; son, Bo Wilkinson Jr. and wife, Maureen Wilkinson; daughter, LaBreeska Beyer and husband, Andrew Beyer; grandsons Bexley Wilkinson, Broox Wilkinson, Bo Henry Beyer, Banks Beyer; brother, Millard Wilkinson and wife, Bobbie Wilkinson; sisters Wanda Crouch and husband, Malcom Crouch, and Deanie Cross and husband, Lelon Cross; nephews Mike Wilkinson, Alan Wilkinson, Monte McIntosh, Eric McIntosh, Brock McIntosh, and Jason Cross; and nieces Kim Lindsey and Sheri Gardener.
